BERITA KEMATIAN MITCH LUCKER (vokalis Suicide Silence)

Mitch Lucker, singer for the Riverside heavy metal band Suicide Silence, died Thursday morning, Nov. 1, after a motorcycle crash Wednesday night in Huntington Beach.
The Orange County coroner’s office said the crash occurred shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday and Lucker was pronounced dead at 6:17 a.m. Thursday at UCI Medical Center in Orange County.
"There's no easy way to say this," the band said in a statement on its Facebook page. "Mitch passed away earlier this morning from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident. This is completely devastating to all of us and we offer our deepest condolences to his family. He will be forever in our hearts."
Huntington Beach police were investigating the crash and expected to release details Thursday.
The 28-year-old lived in Huntington Beach but grew up in Riverside, where the band formed a decade ago from friends who knew each other in the local music scene, playing venues such as the now-defunct Showcase Theatre in Corona.
Lucker lived in Riverside from the time he started kindergarten until he was 21. He also has family in Murrieta. When he wasn't on the road, Lucker was a devoted dad to his young daughter.
The band’s debut album, “The Cleansing,” came out in 2007 and was followed by two other albums, including 2011’s “The Black Crown,” which was written in Big Bear.
Suicide Silence toured on the Mayhem Festival in 2008 and 2011 and also earned two consecutive Revolver Golden Gods Awards, for most innovative band and best new band.
“We wanted to make this aggressive, heavy or fast music. It's fun to play; it's something to do on a summer's night, because there's nothing to do. It's like, 'Yeah, let's have a show.' That means everyone gets together,” Lucker said in a 2011 interview with The Press-Enterprise.
The band was scheduled to perform at California Metalfest VI in San Bernardino on Saturday, Nov. 24.
The news of Lucker's death, spread quickly through social media, with "R.I.P. Mitch Lucker" and Suicide Silence trending on Twitter. A number of Inland musicians in the metal scene and beyond also reached out on social media.
"We've seen this band go from opening up at the Showcase in Corona to blowing up worldwide! Rest In Peace brother. Our condolences to his family," Inland metal band Sangre posted on Facebook.

dunia musik metal telah kehilangan sosok yg sangat hebat dan bermusik metal lebih tepatnya deathcore. RIP Michell Adam Lucker
